UWC Sverige is one of the oldest national committees in the world. Ever since the first United World College (UWC school) was founded in 1962, UWC Sverige has selected and sent scholars to UWC. In total, UWC Sverige has financed just over 800 young people's studies at various UWC schools around the world.

Since UWC Red Cross Nordic was founded in Norway in 1995, we have sent the majority of our selected students there. UWC Sverige has also previously arranged a UWC Short Course and still offers scholarships to students who want to participate in current UWC Short Courses.
